" This game was written out of boredom in about 2 weeks. Not really meant for a publisher but for my own enjoyment. I had written 3 games ( rainbow chaser, thruster ball and zytron ) and decided to try and sell the three as a package in zzap64. I think I had one advert in the magazine and sold a few copies. I was heavily influenced at the time by games klike armalyte and delta and wanted to create something similar. Agreed it is very difficult to play but there are some tips. Staying at the extreme right of the screen I think disables sprite to sprite collision and that your ship can go where the bullets go, making those small gaps easier to navigate. "

A sequel, Zytron II, came out for PC.
